Use-case scenarios
Menu published, guests filling in from the app
The director creates the day's menu with courses and rules (one first course, one second) and sets the cut-off time. From the Guest App, guests choose their stay's dishes with automatic validation; at close, floor and kitchen print Pass and Kitchen print ready to go.
Child on baby menu, adult on takeaway
In the same room the child automatically gets baby courses only and the allergy is flagged; one adult asks for takeaway at lunch: the “TW (1/2)” badge appears and the Kitchen print highlights allergens and pick-ups.
Early departure and meal swap
A guest brings their departure forward: with the swap the meal is realigned to the right day with no double entry, and the prints automatically exclude anyone no longer present.
Floor with map and place cards
The maître opens the floor map, drags the family from room 305 onto table T5 in the Veranda and prints the place card on the zone printer: name, table, covers and room, ready on the table.
A meal sold to a walk-in
Four people without a booking sit down: the waiter creates a Service Order as a “walk-in”, picks lunch by age band and takes payment by card via POS. The covers appear on the floor and in the kitchen prints, kept distinct from hotel guests.
